| Disposing of Household Goods
**If your apartment lease is being ended, you must dispose of EVERYTHING in your apartment. This includes: -ALL furniture and appliances (Shidoka items will be collected by us) -Anything not built-in; e.g. thumb tacks in the walls, hooks for keys, towel rails, shelving, drying poles on the balcony, water-tap filters, etc. You can arrange for collection of bulky refuse by negotiating a pick-up date and location, and purchasing a refuse ticket. Call the reception centre (716-5301 Mon-Fri 9:00-17:00) to arrange the pick-up then buy a ‘e‘傲‚݈—Žè”—¿”[•tŒ”sodai gomi shori tesuuryou nou fuken (refuse ticket) at a convenience store. The cost depends on the item. @ Write your name or the given serial number on the refuse ticket as well as on the refuse item. Put the item at the designated place (e.g. in front of your house), by 8:30am on the designated day. The price range for pick up is between 400 yen to 3,000 yen. Note: air conditioners and televisions must be recycled by the manufacturer - consult your nearest electric appliance store for more information.
