| Getting to Sendai Immigration Office
(nyuukoku kanrikyoku入国管理局) -By train: Take the Senseki Line from Sendai to Tsutsujigaoka Station. Get off and walk through the park. You should see the NTT Building, the immigration office is just behind it. -On foot: About 15-20 minutes from Sendai Station. Follow the big street called Miyagino-dori out the back of the Station (East exit) to Tsutsujigaoka Station. From there cross through the park and look for the NTT building, the immigration office is just behind it. -By bus: This may be the easiest! From the bus pool in front of Sendai Station, take bus A220 from stop #18, bus 205 from stop #35, or bus 215 from stop #36. Ride the bus about five stops to Haranomachi itchome. (022) 256-6076 (Weekdays 9:00-12:00, 13:00-16:00) 〒 = Post Office - Buy your revenue stamps here (shuunyuu inshi 収入印紙), not at the Immigration Office! Note: At the location there will be two buildings on the street corner. One is larger and has a guard on duty in front. The smaller building is opposite the guard and adjacent to Route 45. This smaller building is the Immigration Center. |
