| Used Goods Stores Setting up a new apartment can be an expensive business if you buy everything new. Your best option may be to buy furnishings, etc. off your apartment predecessor. That way they'll be waiting for you in your new home sweet home when you arrive. If that isn't an option, you can try some of the used goods stores located across Sendai. There are three main chains of used goods stores in and around Sendai: Hard Off, 2nd Street (including ItaNz) and the Book Off/B-Life chain (including B-Sports, specializing in used sports goods). There are also numerous small, independent stores, usually selling used clothing and designer goods. These stores are mainly located in the covered arcade on Clis Road/Ichibancho.
